Dear Pamela and Staff,

Just had to take a moment to send you a heartfelt thank you for kindness and support for my mom, dad, me and our family over the past several months. You provided so much more than a “service”. My parents were loved and cared for, body, mind and soul. Yours is a difficult calling, but you are bringing respect and dignity under the most challenging of circumstances. It didn’t go unnoticed or unappreciated by us. We pray God’s richest blessings on you all. Thanks.

Pamela and all the staff at Glenwood – especially all the caregivers in Memory Care Gardens. My heart is overflowing with gratitude and love for all of you who did so much to help Buck in months he was at Glenwood Place. Some of those days and particularly nights were very difficult, but you shined through it all. He truly was a remarkable person. Only sorry the good part couldn’t always shone though his suffering.

God Bless each and every one of you.

Pamela and Glenwood Place,

There are not words that can fully express our thanks to you for all the love, care and support you have given mom over the past 7 years as she made Glenwood Place her home. Her life was blessed each day by you.

Your outreach and compassion during this final time gave us such strength – thank you! And, thank you for the generous memorial donation in her honor – we will dedicate it to the Marshalltown Library.

We are grateful for you.

Our love,
Kathy, Steve and All

Glenwood Staff,

There are simply not enough words to express our gratitude to all of you! The love and compassion you have shown mom & George over the last few years will never be forgotten. You have all become family to us and embraced us as family in return. We never once doubted your care of them. You have blessed our family in ways you can’t imagine. We are forever grateful! Blessings to you all for a jo well done. We love you!

“Keep Smiling!”

Dear Pam and Glenwood Place Family,

How do we begin to thank you for making such a comfy home for mom (Mary) and George? They truly enjoyed their time at Glenwood Place and reminded us daily of how happy they were to live there. It gave us a lot of comfort to see them so content. We really appreciate the great care they received from the wonderful staff. Thank you for your compassion, care and of course the wonderful garden stones. They will be a lovely reminder of the happy days our family spent at Glenwood Place. We will miss you!

Dear Pamela and Glenwood Place Staff,
Thanks for being my home for almost 7 years. I have made new friends and remained with old friends. Thank you for the Mother’s Tea and for the gift I received. This is a wonderful home away from home and my family is very satisfied with the care I receive here. May God bless you as you continue the good work here.

Listen to what one of our residents has to say about living at Glenwood Place Retirement Community

“It has now been three weeks since our father moved into Glenwood Place. It has been a very positive experience. We have been very pleased with the care you and every member of the Glenwood Place community has provided him. Our goal was to provide him the best environment possible. We are grateful that you have made that a success. He has nothing but good things to say about his time there and we have good experiences each time we encounter Glenwood Place residents.

Thank you for all you do to make this Paul’s home. We look forward to a long relationship.”

From all of us at Glenwood Place thank you for your kind words!

On behalf of all of us Henry’s, we want to thank you and your staff for making Mom’s 90th birthday an over-the-top success. As Mom told her family and friends, “This is the best day of my Life”!

AnnaMae had all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren there – so it was quite the scene. Her great granddaughter from Denver made a video that had many of us with a tear in our eye.

Thank you for the cake, cheese and crackers, wine and soft drinks and for sharing the party with her friends and neighbors. I think she was pleasantly surprised at how many of them came to celebrate with her.

We all had a great time and will remember that day for the rest of our lives. We appreciate everything you do for her and we all know she is in great, loving hands.

So a Big thank you from all of us!

Jody’s Place

I can never find the right words to express my happiness with Glenwood Place, just knowing that my Jody was happy, safe and well cared for by Glenwood made it so I didn’t have to feel so guilty about not taking Jody into my own home. I would have loved having Jody live with us, but having John-Henry (back issues) made it impossible for me to care for Jody the way Glenwood did, from day one until Jody’s death.

Jody was so very happy at Glenwood and it became her home and her family, she loved each and every person that she got to know at her new home, Glenwood.

Stu and Jean Christians and Glen & Lynn Smool will be forever indebted to the Glenwood family, from the manager on down to the folks that made deliveries.

The manager of Glenwood is superior to other managers as there is not any job too small or too large for her to pitch in and help. We have seen this so often, henceforth every employee has great respect and admiration for Ms. Pam as do all of us extended family.

Jody’s two sisters (Nancy & Jerry and Brother Skip & his wife Mary Lou) could not believe what a wonderful place Jody spent her last three years in.

I will be grateful to Glenwood and staff forever; never in my wildest dreams did I think we’d find a wonderful home and family to help care for Jody. The four of us, Glen & Lynn Smool and Stu & Jean Christians) truly think Glenwood Place should be a role model for all to try and live up to.

Forever Grateful
